Overview

AutoStash is a vehicle maintenance tracking app built by LeadzBay Labs. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data AutoStash collects, how it is stored, and how it is used.

The short version: AutoStash collects no personal data. All information you enter stays on your device. There is no account system, no cloud sync, and no analytics.

Information we collect

AutoStash does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you enter — vehicle details, service logs, fuel records, trip entries, and costs — is stored locally on your device using your phone's internal storage.

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any information about your vehicles beyond what you manually enter

Local storage

All app data is stored in a local SQLite database on your Android device. This data is private to the AutoStash app. It is not uploaded anywhere, not shared with any third party, and not accessible by LeadzBay Labs.

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.

Exports

AutoStash allows you to export your data as PDF reports and CSV files. These exports are generated locally on your device and shared using your device's native share sheet. LeadzBay Labs does not receive copies of your exported data.

Third-party services

AutoStash uses Google Play In-App Purchases for the one-time unlock purchase. When you make a purchase, Google Play processes the transaction. Your payment information is handled entirely by Google. LeadzBay Labs does not receive or store your payment details. Google's privacy policy governs that transaction.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking services are included in the app.

Permissions

AutoStash requests only the permissions necessary for its features:

• Storage — to save your vehicle data locally and generate export files
• Notifications — to send optional service reminder notifications (Android 13+). You can decline this permission; the app functions normally without it.

AutoStash does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or any other sensitive permission.

Children's privacy

AutoStash is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no personal information from any user, this is satisfied by design.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
