StashLock is a local password manager. All data you enter into StashLock is stored exclusively on your device. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party at any time.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. StashLock does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, passwords, or usage data.

Data stored on your device

All vault entries, folders, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite and encrypted with AES-256-GCM encryption. Your master password is never stored — only a derived key is used to encrypt your data.

Backups

If you use the backup feature, encrypted backup files are sent using your device’s native share sheet to a destination you choose (email, cloud storage, etc.). StashLock does not have access to where these files go or what happens to them after export.

Third-party services

StashLock uses Google Play’s in-app purchase system to process the one-time $3 payment. Google’s privacy policy governs that transaction. StashLock receives no financial or personal data from that process.

Children

StashLock is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
